Welcome to the French Quarter Courtyard Hotel. Sheltered behind.. antique shutters lies an urban oasis of relaxation on the edge of the French Quarter. Here, European charm meets New Orleans grace and elegance, and echoes of jazz greats merge with the sounds of trickling fountains. One of the city's best kept secrets, The French Quarter Courtyard Hotel invites you to unwind in a place where trumpeter Wynton Marsalis first picked up his horn, where legends such as Cannonball Adderly once played, and where moments away, you will find the city's top jazz clubs.
The French Quarter Courtyard Hotel's building dates back to 1897 and was originally a private home owned by a New Orleans aristocrat. Later, the building became a jazz club which hosted many great performers, such as those listed above. The building was restored to its present condition in 1995.
